Admission - Students Criteria
Students Eligibility Criteria
1. Minimum and maximum age for admission will be 17 and 25 years respectively.
2. The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
3. Minimum educational qualification
a) Candidate should have passed in the subjects PCB and English individually must have obtained a minimum of 45% Marks taken together in PCB at the qualifying examination i.e. (10+2).
b) The candidates belonging to SC/ST or other backward classes, the marks obtained in PCB taken together in qualifying examination are 40% instead of 45% as stated above. English is compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible for admission to B.Sc.,(Nursing)
c) Those that have cleared 10, +2 vocational ANM course (revised after 2001) from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
4. Students shall be medically fit.
5. Candidates from other states other than Tamil Nadu must produce Migration Certificate from previous University / Board and Eligibility Certificate from Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University.
